As she prepares to unveil a new album, Lara Fabian was the guest of “C à Vous” this November 27. Faced with archive images that are surprising to say the least, the singer was able to demonstrate a good dose of self-mockery.
On November 29, Lara Fabian will unveil her sixteenth opus entitled I am here. Invited to present her brand new album on the set of C to you, the 54-year-old singer also looked back on certain highlights of her rich career. The opportunity for the artist with the unique voice to recall that she had a very good sense of humor.
The day Lara Fabian lost her bra on stage
On the set of Anne-Elisabeth Lemoine, the mother of Lou, the daughter she had with her former partner Gérard Pullicino, was indeed treated to a retrospective that was, to say the least, offbeat. “Lara, what you experienced in concert on the stage of the Palais des Sports in 1998 could have been a scene from a Splendid film, when you had to hastily disappear in the middle of the show for a rather urgent technical problem”actually mysteriously declared Mohamed Bouhafsi as he launched the magneto.
Viewers were then able to discover archive images from the show Special Envoyfilmed during Lara Fabian’s Palais des Glaces in 1998. A sequence where we see the singer talking about an incident… About a bra! Indeed, once on stage, she realized that she had not fastened her underwear. “There, I closed my coat because I was embarrassed. I said to myself if I lean over a little they might get one in the face, it’s not a good idea”we even hear it played down in the extract.
Lara Fabian faces an etiquette problem on the set of C to you
Full of self-mockery, the interpreter of timeless hits I love you And You are my other did not fail to laugh at herself with the columnists on set. And the height of this story: while Lara Fabian evoked this memory not without humor, she had to face another outfit problem on the set. Seeing that these guests were looking at her neck insistently, she blurted out: “What do you see? Do you see something?”
And Anne-Elisabeth Lemoine responded with a smile on her lips: “The label! (…) As these are clothes that are lent to us, clack you have the labels coming out!”. “Well, we won’t need to tag them!”concluded with humor the one who shares her life with the Italian magician Gabriel di Giorgio.
