Kate Middleton stunned the public by attending the Emir of Qatar’s state visit to London. The reason? She appeared in a lovely outfit displaying the color of the season and was adorned with a necklace very expensive in the eyes of the British!
Since announcing her cancer on Instagram on March 22, 2024, Kate Middleton has been very discreet. She was absent from many events, which caused concern among many Brits! But that was before she announced the end of her chemotherapy last September! “As summer comes to an end, I can’t tell you how relieved I am to finally be done with my treatment“, she explained. Since then, the Princess of Wales has been able to resume her functions.
On November 9 and 10, she made a very notable appearance at the Royal British Legion which was held at the Royal Albert Hall in London. She wore diamond and pearl earrings for the occasion. Today, she postponed these jewels which she can no longer do without for an equally important event: the state visit of the Emir of Qatar.
These are not just any pieces of jewelry. The necklace and earring set that Kate Middleton wore for the occasion belonged to the late Queen Elizabeth II. This choker necklace with four rows of pearls was a gift to her from Japan. This is why this jewel is very well known within the royal family. It has also been worn by Lady Di many times. It therefore has a fairly strong symbolism.
