No need to move to stock up on space and light, this layout is enough.
There are many occasions that require undertaking the transformation of a room in the house. In order to welcome baby in the best conditions, Marjorie chose to exploit the full potential of this room which, before work, only had one wall window and a basic decoration. This unique opening did not bring enough clarity to this space with a view of nature, which is a shame. Fortunately, the French roof window manufacturer, VELUX®, was able to solve this problem, giving a facelift to this basic bedroom which would become much more pleasant for the newborn. If the room could have been suitable as it was for sleeping and resting, it absolutely needed a change to be conducive to a baby’s learning and the invitation of a play mat, an armchair for breastfeed him or give him a bottle and so on.
Although the existing window was obviously retained, a 3-in-1 VELUX® glass roof was added to the under-slope part. And we can say without lying that this arrangement is good! Bathed in natural light, Maé’s baby room comes to life and becomes much more welcoming. As a bonus, it’s a shades of beige, with a touch of khaki on the back wall, which perfects the atmosphere of this cozy little cocoon. Stunning, this transformation made it possible to save space and bring in light while offering the possibility of letting the gaze rest on the surrounding vegetation.
By exploiting the spaces under the slopes or in the attic, you gain a few precious square meters and you also realize a significant added value in terms of the value of your property. A major asset that should not be overlooked.
