Sophie had no reason to stress before the big day and yet, as she approached her marriage, she literally made herself sick. She gives us her advice as a bride.
Marry with the love of your life, bring together all our friends and family … a unique and wonderful moment that must be enjoyed. If all the providers are reserved, let your fittings for the wedding dress take place on time, there is no reason to get angry before D -Day. And yet, many future brides stress, not because ‘They doubt their choice, but because they simply apprehend when the time comes. Not to mention the small vagaries (cancellations of a service provider at the last minute, missing accessories, absent guests …).
This is the case of Sophie, who united in Fabien in early July, and who internalized. “”I felt completely relaxed and Zen, but my body told me the opposite. A week before the wedding, I had rashes on the elbows and the knees, huge itching and the day before the wedding as well as in the morning, I had very stomach ache “, she confides to us. One of his colleagues, who gets married in a few days, encounters this same problem: “I also had redness and itching on the bottom of the legs and arms, and when my witnesses were worried not to arrive on time, I started to vomit myself“. So, what to do to play down when approaching the best day of your life?
Sophie, she tried everything: anti -stress spray to be put under the language in the event of an anxiety peak, a massage, antihistamines to reduce itching and even a glass of vodka to try to relax on D -Day … “”Whatever you do, the most effective is to sit down and take great breathing “. She advises future brides to surround themselves well: do not bring people who could stress you, but on the contrary, who have a rather calm temperament on the day of preparations. Organize a little dinner with your best friends the day before and go to bed early to have a good night’s sleep. Also try to delegate as much as possible to reduce your mental load (Mission someone to go and recover the bouquet of flowers, contact the providers, and all the small details that will avoid thinking about a thousand and one things on D -Day). Finally, plan a few drugs that may be useful in the event of stress such as a doliprane or spasfon in the event of digestive disorders.
After consulting her doctor, Sophie confirms that all these little inconveniences disappeared at the very moment when she saw all her guests. The evening also allowed him to release the pressure: so relax and enjoy these precious moments. In a few days, everything will be better!
