Allianz and the International Olympic Committee (IOC) have announced the extension of the Olympic and Paralympic world partnership until 2032 athletes.
The collaboration between Allianz and the Olympic and Paralympic movements began in 2006 with the International Paralympic Committee (CPI) and expanded in 2021 with the official entry between the global partners of the IOC. Through the “Power of Unity” program, Allianz supports sporting events and inclusion initiatives, promoting the values of unity and sharing between athletes and communities.
360 degree support for athletes and fans
Allianz will provide insurance coverage for the organizers, athletes and spectators of the next games, guaranteeing security during competitions and offering health care and financial protection services. During Paris 2024, the company provided medical assistance to over 155,000 people including athletes, staff and volunteers, as well as guaranteeing tickets to cancel tickets and damages for sports infrastructures.
The company also developed the program Allianz teamwhich supports over 100 athletes all over the world through mentoring and training activities for the management of their post-sports careers. With the initiative MovenowAllianz promotes physical activity among young people, facilitating access to sport and creating growth opportunities.
A strategic investment in two key markets
The Olympic and Paralympic games of 2030 and 2032 will be held in two of the main markets of Allianz: France and Australia. In 2024, these two countries represented over 10% of the group’s operating profit, highlighting the strategic importance of this partnership for the company’s business.

A look at the future: Milan-Cortina 2026 and beyond
Before the editions of 2030 and 2032, Allianz will also be present at the Olympic and Paralympic winter games of Milan-Cortina 2026 and the Los Angeles 2028 games. With the continuation of the partnership, the company will continue to develop innovative solutions for the protection of sporting events and promote social inclusion initiatives through its global program.
The renewal of the collaboration with the IOC and the CPI confirms Allianz as a leading actor in the international sports scene, combining business, values and sports in a single shared vision.
