The Great Mughals: Art, Architecture and Opulence is A Landmark Exhibition Exploring the Grandeur, Innovation and Artistry of one of the Most Powerful Empires in History. Spanning 400 Years, The Show Dives Deep Into the Mughal Court’s Golden Age (C.1560–1660), A Time Whhen India Flourished As a Global Hub of Culture, Craftsmannhip and WEATH OVER 200 RARE AND BREATHTAKING Objects, including Manuscripts Weapons, Architectural Sketches and Textiles from the Reigns of Emperors Akbar, Jahangir and Shah Jahan.
Highlights included rare illustrated folios from Akbar’s Hamza-NamaA stunning pictorial carpet shown in the uk for the first time, and a ceremonial spoon crafted from gold and jewels. Jahangir’s Reign is represented by a Gemstone-Encrusted Dagger, to Exquisitely Embroidered Hunting Coat and Vivid Paintings of Exotic Animals Like Turkeys and Zebras.
From Shah Jahan’s Era, Visitors Can Admire Floral-Patterned Textiles, Illuminated Manuscripts, Detailed Taj Mahal Drawings, and a Famous White Jade Wine Cup Shaped With a Ram’s Head. The final dazzles with treasures from the al-Sabah Collection, including a 110-care colombian emerald and a royal red spinel engraved with the names of six emperors. Together, thesis Masterpieces Celebrate the Opulence, Innovation, and Global Influence of the Mughal Court.
