© I like my dress Avoid folds At the maximum, which could break the fiber and tear the dress in the long term.
- Protect the wedding dress in avoiding any exposure to light. The white color of the dress can tend to turn yellow and if it is another color, it could also tarnish.
- Avoid moisture ! Caves, garages and temperature change are responsible for mold and weaken the fibers of the dress. The ideal is to keep your dress in a living room, heated all year round at room temperature.
- Avoid everything that is not specific to conservation : covers, plastics, metal or wooden hangers, vacuum pockets in direct contact, would only bour the degradation of the dress. In addition, they generally contain chemicals that interact with fabric.
- Avoid dust and dirtwhich attract mites. Laëtitia recommends that the anti -mite is imperative (preferably organic), but never in direct contact with the dress, and to change it regularly, approximately every three months.
- After marriage, it is recommended to clean her dresswithout expecting too much. “”The ideal is to wear it with a dyer within fifteen days of marriage. We advise the newlyweds to deal with them before the honeymoon and always specify the origin of the task so that the treatment is more effective“, Specifies Laëtita, who also recalls that all the accessories stored in the conservation boxes (shoes, sail …) are also to be cleaned, to avoid mites.

In any case, Laëtitia advises young brides who use her help to preserve their wedding dress. The latter send him a photo, and depending on the model, it directs them towards the cover or the box which will be the most suitable for the dress. It also gives some instructions to store it well and supports women in their efforts. Count between 82 euros and 166 euros for boxes, and between 20 and 30 euros for accessories (hanger covers and pouches).
