The 2024-2025 edition ended on Thursday with an event at Palazzo Marino Solve for Tomorrow – La Milano del Lavoror, the project of social responsibility promoted by Samsung Electronics and for years to secondary school students for years. The initiative was born with the aim of offering new generations concrete tools to deal with the challenges of the present, developing digital and design skills and promoting an active role in society.
The edition of this year, created in collaboration with the Municipality of Milanwithin the work pact for the work promoted by the Department of Economic Development and Labor Policies, involved 11 Higher Institutes of the neighborhoods of Corvetto/Lodi, Nolo/Monza and Selinunte/San Siro.
The project accompanied girls and boys on a path of reflection and transformation of the urban context, with the aim of helping to build a more inclusive, sustainable and innovative Milan. The heart of the program were the paths for transversal skills and the orientation to the future, divided into training modules on key issues for the future: Stem skills, design Thinking, artificial intelligence, new professional profiles and sustainable development.
An experience that has combined theory and practice, strengthening awareness of their active role in society and opportunities related to the evolution of the world of work in participants.
During the final event, the students of seven Milanese high schools presented the projects developed in teams during the year, offering concrete and innovative solutions for the future of the city.
Among these, the three most deserving projects have been selected and rewarded:
• Milan inclusive – Vittorio Veneto state scientific high school – Group 2 (Selinunte/San Siro): An app designed for social redemption capable of enclosing several services all aimed at fighting the lack of access and the digital gap, offering free training and greater digitization in order to bring opportunities for residents of disadvantaged areas, increase the quality of life and reduce the gap between the neighborhoods of Milan.
• Generation AI – G. Galilei higher education institute – R. Luxemburg (Selinunte/San Siro): A training course dedicated to artificial intelligence, aimed at the redevelopment of professional skills and the reduction of digital divide.
• Sos Stations – Carducci state classical high school (Nolo/Monza): a collaborative app that allows users to share in real time information on public transport information, with the aim of improving urban mobility and collective well -being.
All participating students received an official participation certificate, while The three winning teams were given dedicated gadgets offered by Samsung in recognition of their commitment and the quality of the solutions presented.

To recognize the value of the initiative and the commitment of young people, representatives of the institutions intervened, including the Councilor for Economic and Policy Development of the Labor of the Municipality of Milan, Alessia Cappellowhich underlined how projects such as Solve for Tomorrow can contribute to making Milan more and more a European capital of employment, innovation and opportunities: “Inside the work pact we are promoting all the initiatives capable of bringing the opinions, creativity and talent of the boys and girls who populate our city to the center. The “Solve for Tomorrow” project created together with Samsung Electronics was truly exemplary in this, since it provided the students and students of 11 higher institutes with the digital and strategic tools to design the Milan of tomorrow’s work, and to offer the city innovative ideas and proposals that today with great interest we have listened to the most important room of our town hall “.
