Sad news for decorative enthusiasts, a brand much appreciated by the French will close its doors.

A large decoration brand and small furnishings at mini prices, well known to lovers of good deals, is about to bow out in France. For years, this brand had been able to make a place in our interiors with a simple recipe: trendy, practical decorative products, at low prices. We went there to revamp a living room without breaking the bank, or to offer a nice vase at a dinner without breaking her budget. Its trendy style and practical accessories had attracted a whole generation of consumers. Today it announces its compulsory liquidation in France. A total of 143 stores will close.

At the beginning of April, the company entered into receivership. In parallel, the situation deteriorates in Belgium: in March 2025, the parent company, logistical pillar of the group, goes bankrupt. Immediate consequence: 63 stores close, 544 employees lose their jobs, and the whole logistical organization collapses. In France, the warning signs are there: the shelves are emptying at high speed, the discounts are linked, customers are flocking … Everyone understands that the end is near. Wednesday, June 11, 2025, the Bobigny Commercial Court renders its verdict: judicial liquidation for the French brand, for lack of a serious takeover offer. Casa closes its doors and this is the end of an adventure started 50 years ago.

The causes of this sad closure? The real estate crisis slows down home -related purchases. Competition of low -cost brands that rages and online commerce nibbles the rest. And above all, the fall of Belgian logistics, a real spine of the group, plunged the French subsidiary into a dead end.

The exact date of closing stores is not yet known, but the shops already offered prices sold out among the almost empty shelves. After the liquidation of the Belgian subsidiary, the French brand Noz is also preparing to offer the products of the destocking brand. Enough to benefit from the brand’s products one last time.
