On February 3, 2024, the date of the death of his father, Victor-Emmanuel de Savoie, he took the lead of the royal house of Italy, of which he gave himself the mission of dusting the image and restoring the coat of arms. Since then, Emmanuel-Philibert de Savoie chained official trips, charity commitments and worldly representations around the world.
“I have a double role: I have to take care of the dynastic orders for which I travel a lot to Italy and abroad. Today, we support around sixty associations in all transalpine regions and around the world”he first explained to Gala. And him to add: “I also have to work because I do not have a state that takes care of myself and my finances. So I have to maintain my lifestyle and that of my own family. So, I activate myself. I thus launched a digital bank in Italy (…) I am also creating an online electronic game (…) and what else do I have? My restaurants, of course!”.

Even if they are accompanied by great solitude. “I am very solicited, I chair many events around the world. In the street, in Italy, I am called, I am told. But at the end of the day, I find myself alone in hotel rooms, alone also in the face of decisions”admitted the ex-husband of Clotilde Courau, from which he has been separated for a few years.
But the one who now shares his life with the businesswoman and former Miss Mexico, Adriana Abascal, remains faithful to himself. “Today, many people are formatted, especially when they are in the representation. I am a relatively atypical person because coming from a royal family where, perhaps, we expected something else of me”he said first.
Emmanuel-Philibert de Savoie intends to continue to advance according to his desires and free himself from the shackles of his role: “I knew success by making television. And then, I married the woman I loved and who was not noble! I always advanced with my heart, before moving forward with my head. And it always brought me luck”.
