In the space of a few days, two members of the British royal family brought the same jewel. They each chose different colors of precious stones to create two separate looks. Photos.
After Carole Middleton and Mary of Denmark who argued for the most coveted dress of the moment, it is the turn of Queen Camilla and another British royal personality to show up with the same jewel. Who wears it best?
It was on June 24, during a reception at the Palais Saint James in London, that Queen Camilla unveiled her new favorite accessory. It is a model from the Van Cleef & Arpels jewelry house: a vintage alhambra bracelet 5 18 -carat yellow gold patterns and agate at 5123 dollars, or 4350 euros. The wife of King Charles III again worn this bracelet on July 1, during two events organized in Edinburgh: at the Garden Party Annual at the Palais de Holyrood and the inauguration of the Ratho Library Rebuilt. This blue jewelry was fine with the recent looks of the Queen Consort, which oscillated between black and white, as well as shades of blue.
Another Gotha personality also seems to have set his sights on this signed van Cleef & Arpels bracelet. Indeed, Sarah Ferguson, which is the Duchess of York but also the sister-in-law by alliance by Camilla Parker Bowles, appeared with this same jewel.
At the Wimbledon tournament on June 30, she sported a green version of the bracelet with malachite stones replacing the blue of the agate.
This model is moreover more expensive than that chosen by Camilla, since it is displayed at a price of 5,717 euros. The 77 -year -old queen and the 65 -year -old duchess seem to have similar and very sharp fashion tastes!
