The eye area is a very sensitive area. It is therefore essential to clean it with care and softness to respect our eyes. Follow our expert’s advice.

1. Use cleansing milk to erase eyeshadow

The eye area is a very sensitive area because the skin is finer. It is therefore essential to clean it with precision and softness to eliminate the makeup residues which could weaken it.

The expert’s advice

“Removal starts with the elimination of eye shadows. I recommend the use of specific make -up removal milk for the eyes because the texture is soft and slips better on the skin,” explains Audrey Giron, esthetician at the Pleasures des Senses Institute.

If you are not a follower of milk, do not hesitate to opt for the special eye make-up makeup remover.

2. Make circular movements

To make a removal of your eyes well, it is important to make circular movements in the direction of the needles of a watch to activate blood circulation and thus, avoid puffy eyes and pockets.

To make a removal of your eyes well, it is important to make circular movements in the direction of the needles of a watch to activate blood circulation and thus, avoid puffy eyes and pockets.

The expert’s advice

“To eliminate all the makeup residues, you have to clean your eyes with a cotton slightly soaked in cleansing milk. Slip the cotton from the inner corner gently to the external corner to the external corner and go down under the eye from the outside inward. To check if the area is clean, go back a second time. Normally, that should be enough,” said Audrey Giron.

3. Remove the mascara with cotton

Mascara is one of the most difficult make -up products to eliminate. Often waterproof, it remains glued to the eyelashes and can cause, if it is not removed properly, in the long run, a premature fall of the eyelashes.

The expert’s advice

“Remove the mascara with a cotton slightly soaked in cleansing milk to prevent the product from flowing in the eyes. Then remove the product by making a gesture that goes from top to eyelashes. If your mascara is waterproof, opt for an oil -based makeover”, advises our expert.

4. Erase the traces of pencil with a cotton swab

Smoky Eye, graphic eye … The pencil line is often a makeup product that is difficult to remove because it leaves traces.

The expert’s advice

“Soak a cotton swab with a little cleansing milk and erase your pencil line by following its route,” says our esthetician.

5. Perform make -up removal with a lotion

Once the eyes are cleaned with cleansing milk, it is important to refresh and hydrate this area to keep it beautiful and smooth.

The expert’s advice

“You can finish make -up removal with a tonic lotion. Then apply an eye area to hydrate the skin well,” advises Audrey Giron.
