Material necessary to make your fir tree yourself

The good news is that you will not need a lot of equipment to create your wooden Christmas tree! And as you will bet on recovery, your DIY will be at a very low price. You will need:
- 12 branches of barewood, without leaves, rather straight and growing sizes
- 1 golden leather strap, 3 m in length
Step 1: Shaping the structure of the Christmas tree

To start your Christmas tree, attack yourself. Fold the leather strap in half so that each arm has the same length, then make a loop of a few centimeters in the middle, allowing to hang the tree. Take the smallest branch by making a knot at each of its ends.
Step 2: Add the branches of the wooden tree

Once the base and the attachment of the tree has been created, tie the other branches in the same way at each end. Try to respect the same spacing between each branch for a more harmonious rendering. If you want to decorate your tree with ornaments whose curls are already knotted, put on the decorations on the branches before continuing.
Step 3: Treat the finishes

Your Christmas tree is almost finished! Tighten the nodes of each branch well then finish by making a double knot on each strap arm, then cut the excess strap if necessary or leave a few centimeters depending on the tastes.
