Who says life transition often means housing transition. It is with this in mind that the owners called on Valérie Laporte Volatier and Brice Bourdon from the Les Murs ont des Oreilles agency. How can we rethink and give a facelift to this large family home on two levels while retaining the charm and memories? The basic work was therefore to modernize the decoration as a whole. It was like offering a second life without making any particular changes to the layout of the rooms. On the other hand, the bulk of the work was carried out upstairs where the three bedrooms and the majestic bathroom are located. It is an empty platform which has been re-insulated on the wall side, but also on the floor level. The result is clear: it no longer looks like the same house! Everything is airy, more modern, while preserving and enhancing the family furniture: a perfectly successful bet.
