Tools and materials
- UHU POLY MAX® glue, applied using a cartridge gun for optimal precision
- 7 fir battens measuring 200x40x10 mm, for a base measuring 2.70 m in length and 1 m in height
- 1 level ruler, 1 meter and 1 pencil for precise measurements
- UHU masking tape, essential for clean finishes
- vintage blue satin paint, 1 brush and 1 roller for an impeccable final result
Step 1
Start by measuring your wall and drawing marks to position the battens. Then use a level ruler to ensure perfect alignment.
Step 2
Apply UHU POLY MAX® glue in small waves to the back of the first horizontal batten, then press against the wall for a few seconds. The instant setting of the glue guarantees effortless hold.
Step 3
Cut the battens to the necessary dimensions before spacing them alternately (15 cm and 25 cm) to create a harmonious graphic effect. Glue each strip using UHU POLY MAX®.
Step 4
Joint the battens with UHU POLY MAX® for an impeccable finish. After completely dry, place UHU masking tape all around, then apply two coats of vintage blue satin paint.
This is the result!
You are now the happy owner of a pretty headboard, of which you can choose the color and number of slats as you wish. Well done to you!
