The ambience strikes the perfect balance between sophistication and comfort, making it ideal for an evening out or a special occasion.
The Meal
Macellaio RC’s latest menu is nothing short of spectacular, showcasing its commitment to sourcing the finest ingredients from Italy. The restaurant’s Italian owner Roberto Costa personally travels across the country to source the best produce, ensuring that every dish reflects the high-quality and authentic flavors of his homeland. This menu focuses heavily on premium beef, especially the prized Fassona Piemontese breed, but also features a wide array of other culinary delights.
The highlight
The star of the show was the halal steak we tried. Cooked to absolute perfection, the premium Halal Sashi steak melted in the mouth, with every bite delivering the rich, deep flavor that only comes from perfectly aged meat. The marbling was exceptional, resulting in a steak that was both juicy and tender. Paired with a lovely range of mocktails the meal was elevated to a whole new level of indulgence.
Other highlights on the menu include the Orecchia d’Elefante, a beautifully thin and crisp Milanese-style veal cutlet that is wonderfully tender and packed with flavour. In addition, the Amatriciana Tonno e Guanciale provides a rich blend of flavors with the Gnocchi al pesto another standout—light, fluffy gnocchi paired with a vibrant and fresh basil pesto that transports customers to the Italian countryside with every bite.
