The regional elections continue in full swing in preparation for Miss France 2025. This time, it is Corsica that has its new representative. Here is everything you need to know.
This Monday, July 29, the election of Miss Corsica 2024 was held in Porticcio, in South Corsica. At the end of a ceremony dedicated to traditions and dance, the island of beauty finally met the person who will represent it in the next Miss France 2025 election. And it was Stella Vangioni who won the precious prize.
Stella Vangioni proud to be elected Miss Corsica
It was therefore under the moved eyes of her loved ones, but also under the attentive gaze of Sandra Bak, Miss Corsica 2023, and the current Miss France, Ève Gilles, that Stella Vangioni Schröer, her full name, donned the precious crown for the very first time.
Moved, the young woman spoke to Corsica Morning. “I felt a real pride, of myself already, to have come to Miss Corsica and to have registered. To have spoken, to have danced in front of 1000 people (…) honestly, I was a little shocked. But I am so proud to represent Corsica. It’s incredible, it’s really an adventure of a lifetime. And, Miss Corsica, I will only be once, I only have one chance, and I want to give it my all.”
Stella Vangioni: personal information about the candidate
Aged 27 and measuring 1m71, Stella Vangioni lives between Corsica (she is originally from Bastia) and Paris. She is a model, entrepreneur and actress. She has already made a few appearances on the small screen, notably in the series of the American platform Starz, The Serpent Queen. He was also seen in the thriller Outrage in 2023 alongside Julie Gayet.
Stella Vangioni is already the boss
In addition to her love of cinema, Stella Vangioni is also an accomplished entrepreneur. And for good reason, she already has her own swimwear brand, Umanu Swimwear. Launched recently, her line is entirely composed of swimsuits made from recycled plastics and ocean waste. Will she defend the cause of ecology during the Miss France 2025 final next December?
