This July 5, 2025, some 1,200 people had come to the Vichy Opera to attend the election with great fanfare of the brand new Miss Auvergne. And it is finally the young Alice of Lima Guimaraes who won the precious title, succeeding Romane Agostinho, Miss Auvergne 2024. What do we know about the young woman of 19 years?
Alice de Lima Guimaraes is Miss Auvergne 2025: her plans are now upset
At 19, Alice de Lima Guimaraes was elected in her hometown, Vichy, where she still lives today. The student in literary preparatory class at the Fénelon high school in Clermont-Ferrand won against 13 other contenders for the title and in front of a star jury composed of Romane Agostinho, Miss Auvergne 2024 and Indira Ampiot, Miss France 2023. Of Portuguese origin by her father, the one who has just finished her year of Khâgne should have had to “Start a license in journalism at the Sorbonne”. His plans are therefore likely to be a little turned upside down.
Questioned by colleagues in the wake of her election, the student tried to explain the secret of her success: “I stayed myself. I tried to be sparkling, as I am in everyday life. I gave myself thoroughly without worrying about the result”.
Alice de Lima Guimaraes, very attached to her region: what is her dream?
Very close to her family, this longtime dancer and pianist told the press that Miss France was “A little girl’s dream” for her. And her to add: “I am determined. I’m going to do everything to succeed. I have already made a very beautiful course. Everything is linked quickly enough but I am ready to take up the challenge. I started without necessarily imagining everything that was going to happen”.
Very attached to her region, Alice de Lima Guimaraes intends to wear the colors of it loud and clear. “It is much more than a beauty contest: it is the opportunity to bring high the values that are close to my heart and to highlight the treasures of our Allier”she said.
