Business leaders, even small, must prepare for a major administrative upheaval imposed by the State.

Paperasse, forms, online procedures … The French know the administrative heaviness of their country well. This complexity affects both individuals in their daily lives and professionals in the management of their activity. Between the multiple declarations to be made, the obligations that are constantly evolving and the steps that accumulate, managing a business in France requires a lot of time and energy. Fortunately, the government is trying to gradually modernize its processes, in particular by dematerializing more and more procedures.

This administrative reality weighs particularly on companies: between tax, social declarations, accounting obligations and relations with the various public organizations, the burden represents a considerable cost and time. From micro-entrepreneur to the big company, everyone must devote a significant part of their time and resources to these tasks. This situation often slows down the productivity and competitiveness of French companies, which sometimes struggle to focus on their core business in the face of these regulatory constraints.

A major change is looming for September 2026 with the generalization of electronic invoicing. According to the official website Entreprendre.service-public.fr, “The obligation for companies established in France to issue and receive electronic invoices will gradually apply from September 1ᵉʳ 2026 for large companies and intermediate -sized companies (ETI)” And “September 1, 2027 for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and micro-enterprises”. For the government, this measure aims for several objectives: “Fight more effectively against VAT fraud”, “improve the competitiveness of businesses thanks to dematerialization” And “Simplify, in the long term, the declarative vat obligations thanks to the pre-filling of declarations”. However, this transition represents a challenge for businesses …

They will have to adapt their billing process, train their teams and invest in new technological tools. To prepare for it, companies must have “Choose a platform approved by the State” And “Designate your platform to issue and receive your electronic invoices”. This digital revolution, although it promises a long -term simplification, now requires careful preparation to avoid unpleasant surprises when approaching this essential deadline.
