Amel Bent fell in love with a city in the sun: which one?
In recent years, Paris has gradually been losing residents. Moreover, several stars have left the capital: Michel Sardou bought an XXL villa in Bormes-les-Mimosas, Alessandra Sublet chose a house in Cannes and Julien Doré opted for a residence in the Cévennes… As for Amel Bent, after living in Paris intra muros, it is on the outskirts of the capital that she lives with her husband and their children. “I am a suburbanite so living in the heart of Paris is no longer an option. I lived there for two years but it was too noisy and too many people. It’s the village spirit that I like in the suburbs. because there is a reassuring side. At one point I thought about leaving because I fell in love with a village called Carnon near Palavas-les-Flots. I looked for a place but I gave up because with my job it’s complicated to leave“, she told us.

Amel Bent, married to the former driving school manager Patrick Antonelli and mother of three children (Sofia, born in 2016, Hana born in 2017 and Zayn, born in 2022), also had a bad conscience at the idea of increasing the number of trips back and forth between Paris and the provinces, due to her job as an artist.
“On the other hand, I don’t like flying so I can’t imagine taking it once a week, especially since it’s bad for the planet. However, my husband is from Marseille and would like to settle around the Mediterranean. But I like the ring road (laughs). I’m a real Parisian suburbanite because I was born at the Bichat hospital in Porte de Saint-Ouen, so on the ring road! So I have trouble getting imagine myself elsewhere but Maybe that will come later!“
