When is the basic allowance paid?
The basic allowance is paid to young parents from the 1st day of the month following the birth of the child. The aid is then paid every month for three years, until the month preceding the child’s 3rd birthday.
Up to what age is the basic allowance paid?
The basic allowance is paid until the month before the child turns 3. In the event of adoption, it is paid for at least 12 months, until the child is 20 years old maximum.
Can we receive the basic allowance for several children?
A household can only receive the basic allowance for one child : if you were entitled to it for your eldest child aged three and you have a baby, you will only receive it for the baby.
