In its first fifty years of activity, research and international conferences, the International Family Studies Center – research center of the San Paolo Publishing Group – has witnessed the evolution of the family and participated in the public debate on family policies. This specific activity, so focused in its mission and objectives, has allowed the CISF to become an authoritative observer and attentive interpreter of changes, in the light of an anthropological vision that sees the family as the place in which the person experiences the relationship, the difference and intergenerationality.
On the occasion of its fiftieth anniversary, the CISF indicated as central the research theme dedicated to the dimension of family living Living in the house, the city, Creationa macro topic that represents an ambitious challenge through which to interpret the time we are living inaccording to both a prospective and intergenerational perspective.
The exhibition thus kicks off on May 15th, on the occasion of International Family Day WE, HOMEa cultural project led by sociologist Francesco Belletti, in collaboration with Famiglia Cristiana and Gruppo San Paolo, with the contribution of BCC Milano: a long journey through 50 photos of 10 Italian families captured in everyday moments (portrayed by photographers Roberto Morelli and Simone Durante), which celebrates the beauty of family relationships and gestures of care.
