Annie Murray has always loved fitness, but before, she was content to run and lift light weights. When she approached menopause, she wanted to strengthen her body to face hormonal changes. Indeed, with menopause, the drop in estrogen levels and testosterone resulted in accelerated muscle loss. This is why, at 50, she started lifting heavier weights. His routine was based on fundamental exercises, incorporating movements such as push, traction, squat, slit and carrying loads.
But that’s not all. According to her, you cannot compensate for poor diet by sport. Its food program is based today on lean proteins, vegetables and a carbohydrate intake. She also removed alcohol and refined sugars from her meals. Thanks to this new routine, this 50 -year -old has gained tone and refined her silhouette. Its joint pain, especially knee and hips, have decreased.
