Jennifer Aniston is living proof that age is just a number. At 55, the actress continues to dazzle with her elegant looks and athletic figure. His recipe? A well-thought-out routine that breaks the clichés of intensive fitness.
Jennifer Aniston, cinema icon and essential face of red carpets, has never hidden the importance she places on her well-being. However, far from the Hollywood clichés advocating extreme training, the actress adopts a balanced approach. In a recent interview, she said she had left behind the idea that “no pain, no gain”. “That’s not true at all.”she says. “You can get results without pushing your body to the limit.”
Indeed, over the years, the star of Friends explored different fitness routines, from long cardio sessions to more specific workouts with weights. His observation? “I didn’t need to put my body through so much pain back then,” she said. Jennifer regrets those years when she forced herself to follow grueling programs that did not always meet her needs. From now on, she prioritizes pleasure and listening to her body. “I learned that you don’t have to beat yourself up to stay in shape,” she explains. So, far from drastic resolutions at the start of the year, Jennifer Aniston prefers to commit to a realistic routine that she can follow all year long. This way, she avoids disappointing herself or setting unattainable goals.
Furthermore, the actress makes sure to move daily, even if it’s only 10 minutes. After an injury that forced her to slow down, she discovered Pilates, a gentle discipline that she loves. But she recognizes that she lacked this “good sweat” that dynamic training provides. That’s when she resumed what she calls her program “15-15-15.” A routine which, although effective, remains accessible. “I do the exercise bike, the elliptical bike and running, 15 minutes each. This allows me to work the whole body without getting exhausted.”
Varying the exercises to avoid monotony while using different muscles is its secret. By alternating these three practices, she manages to get a complete workout in less than an hour. Inspiring!
