Anxious depressive syndromes, social withdrawal, disorders of emotional-affective regulation and food behavior, which need attention and taking care of psychotherapeutic. To support the teenagers who face these and other difficulties, in Milan, a life is born, a project selected by with children as part of the fund for the contrast of juvenile educational poverty. The occasion of the inauguration is the first national day of listening to minors, established for April 9 by the Italian Parliament.
In our country, in constant demographic drop, it is necessary to ask how much listening to the needs of boys and girls is truly a priority of adults. In practice, life space is a public-private territorial hub, with the aim of promoting the psychological well-being of teenagers, taking their requests seriously. In the project there is an integrated multidisciplinary team, capable of delivering prevention, care, psychoeducative support services to adolescents priority of municipalities 4 and 5 of Milan. The leader of the project is the road company Cooperative Society: «We are happy to be able to start an educational construction site in our area together with other partners – tells Paolo Larghi – To enhance teenagers and their resources, also working with adults who must be able to accompany them to the best in their growth phase ». Project partner are the ASST Santi Paolo and Carlo, the La Strada Association, the Municipality of Milan, the Crinali Social Cooperative, the Cooperative in Dialogue – Culture and Communication Social enterprise, and Galdus Social Cooperative Society. The peculiar element of the project is the daily and integrated collaboration between professionals of the ASST SANTI Paolo and Carlo and of the Third Sector Bodies.
The recipients of the project are boys and girls aged 11 to 18, including minors from local bodies or on spontaneous access that need evaluation child neuropsychiatryminors already in charge of the operating units of childhood neuropsychiatry and adolescence, and minors in charge of educational services. Recipients of cultural, expressive and sporting activities proposed at the Hub and in the area will also be the minors who attend the places of aggregation such as youth aggregation centers, parishes and sports associations.
The project will develop three years, from February 2025 to February 2028. The first phase will see the birth of the territorial hub, reference pole for the psychological and relational well -being of teenagers, and the establishment of the public/private integrated multi -professional team, capable of designing and managing together the most suitable paths for beneficiaries and the different stakeholders. The interventions will be activated, modulated by intensity and type: Individual and group psycho-educational interventions, with support for psychic disorder, in cases of greater severity, meetings of transcultural psychology and cultural linguistic mediation, groups to support parenting and transcultural groups for parents. Starting from the activities carried out at the HUB, activities in the area will then be proposed, to form and strengthen the educating community, and prevention meetings in the school field, to intercept the discomfort of teenagers early.
