Only a few days before returning to class. But before the start of the school year, registration fees will have to be paid. In public higher education establishments, registration fees are changing each year depending on the national consumer price index outside tobacco. Inflation is measured in January preceding the start of the academic year.
For the start of the 2025 school year, students entering license or preparing a national diploma issued during studies leading to the degree of license will have to pay 178 euros. Registration fees are 254 euros for a master’s degree or a national diploma issued during studies leading to the degree of Master. For the doctoral diploma and the authorization to direct research, students will have to pay 397 euros.
Finally, registration fees for the engineering diploma amount to 2,613 euros except for students who started the engineering training course before September 1, 2018. In this case, tuition fees are 628 euros for the university year 2025-2026.
What should students pay?
To these registration fees, you must add the student life and campus contribution (Cvec). Its amount is 105 euros for the start of the 2025 school year. Note that students who obtained a higher education scholarship have to pay these registration fees.
For students who prepare several diplomas in a single establishment, the costs of the second registration are reduced. They are 118 euros for a license or a national diploma issued during studies leading to the degree of license; 166 euros for a master’s degree or a national diploma issued during studies leading to the degree of Master; 264 euros for the doctoral diploma and 1,742 euros for the engineering diploma (419 euros for students registered before September 1, 2018).
