Geox is an Italian shoe brand. The invention of Geox technology dates back to the 1990s: its founder, Mario Moretti Polegato, has the idea of piercing holes in the sole of its sneakers. Then he then decided to mount his own shoe brand inspired by this find, under the name of Geox, in 1995.
GEOX is now recognized worldwide for its very specific airy sole technology. “Geox, the breathing shoe” is indeed its very telling slogan! The classic Geox sole is breathable: it is crossed by micro perforations and nevertheless remains perfectly waterproof. This rubber sole contains a patented membrane, with the microporous structure, which initially absorbs sweat, then expels it. The sportsman’s foot is therefore “ventilated” and has much less warm -up than in a basketball. Geox shoes are recommended for assets, athletes but also people with sweating problems.
Geox has today diversified its range and invented different breathable soles. They differ according to the type of shoes: Amphibiox technology, Nebula, but also waterproof leather soles.
