The negative rhesus is very little present in each blood group of the world population as French. The blood group A- represents in both cases only 6% of the population (against 36% for A+).
The negative rhesus is very little present in each blood group of the world population as French. The blood group A- represents in both cases only 6% of the population (against 36% for A+). The characteristics of the blood group A- are:
► Antigens: The surface of the red blood cells in the blood group A is concentrated in type A antigens. Therefore, this blood group or more precisely its red blood cells can only be transmitted to AB and A groups.
► Rhesus: negative. People A- can therefore give the two rhesus of groups A and AB.
► Antibodies: serum or plasma of type A blood contains anti-B antibodies. So as for A+, they can receive red blood cells like type A and o with the difference that they must be negative rhesus.
