New fashion release to watch: Carla Bruni’s favorite brand is launching a line of jeans with well-designed cuts and real work on the material.
When Carla Bruni adopts a brand, she stays loyal to it. We regularly see her wearing her pieces, on stage and in everyday life. So obviously, as soon as something new arrives at this house that she particularly likes, it attracts attention. This time, it is a collection of jeans, a more everyday terrain, but worked with the same requirement.
The idea of the project is simple: take a piece of clothing that everyone wears and give it value. To achieve this, the brand devoted a full year to this development. The fabrics come from Japan, where the denim is treated with particular care, then dyed with indigo to obtain a color that evolves over time. Each piece is then worked with different techniques, between manual interventions and laser finishes, in order to avoid an overly uniform result. What stands out is jeans that have more hold, more depth, and that move away from the standard model that we buy without much thought.
In terms of cuts, the collection goes to the essential with six proposals that cover several styles. The bootcut returns with a fitted line on the hips and wider from the knee, while a closer to the body, slightly cropped version offers a more modern alternative. For those who like volume, a loose model goes straight to the ground, with a lot of fluidity. Another cut plays on a rounded shape, with volume at the hips and a more pronounced silhouette.
The skinny also remains present, faithful to its close-fitting side over the entire length. Finally, a more classic straight jean completes the ensemble, easy to wear every day. The campaign mainly highlights cuts, without overdoing it. And, the brand in question, the one that Carla Bruni considers a reference in her wardrobe, is none other than Alaïa.
Moreover, Carla Bruni is not the only one to have fallen in love with this famous brand. Other French personalities such as Tina Kunakey, Leïla Bekhti and Camille Lellouche also regularly wear the brand’s pieces. A label that we never tire of and which continues to renew itself throughout the seasons. The proof.
