Perched on the top floors of an old building from 1890 in the 18th arrondissement of Paris, this property was relatively healthy when Alexandra & Chris, an American couple, bought it to make it their Parisian pied-à-terre. As Lorelei Peyrichou, design project manager at Little Worker who monitored the project, explains to us, “there was no upgrading to standards to be undertaken, but rather a lot of work to make it suit the tastes of its new owners, who wanted to do things there that they might not have dared to do in their main residence”.
This apartment has taken on pretty colors and not only
If the plan hasn’t changed an inch – the kitchen was even able to be kept as is – the rest has changed! Little Worker has managed to improve the energy performance of the premises, particularly on the water feature side, you will see how. Simplified, the volumes are thus better defined and more readable, without being divided, thanks to clever flat areas of color, chosen with care. Using inspirations drawn from Pinterest, the clients had fun creating distinct, but never colorful, atmospheres in this well-designed apartment.
