For this 2026 season, there are four new attractions at Futuroscope. Dinosaurs, futuristic plants, electric trails… Here’s everything you need to know about what’s new at the Poitevin park this year.
THE Futuroscope located near Poitiers, is a family theme park which suitable for as many people as possible, including parents, young children and teenagers who are keen on science and new technologies. For several years, Futuroscope has continued to expand: and 2026 will be no exception, since four new features are in the spotlight for this 39th season.
What’s new at Futuroscope?
This year, on the eve of its 40thth anniversary, Futuroscope saw things big with no less than four new features.
The Greenhouse of Worlds
First of all, “La Serre des Mondes” was created in the 360° Pavilionthus replacing the “Sébastien Loeb Racing Xperience”. New visitors will be able to discover this immersive journey designed as a digitalized plant greenhouse, combining music and narration : you will have to help the botanist to save his “specimen”, a giant tree that fans ofAvatar will not fail to love, passing through a superb room with interactive decorations. Images of plants adorn the walls, while the floor reacts to visitors’ footsteps.
T-Rex
Dinosaur fans will also be delighted to discover the new T-Rex moviebroadcast in the Omnimax pavilion, completely renovated for the occasion. A 900 m hemispherical screen2 plunges us directly into the Cretaceous, where tyrannosaurs and triceratops compete for power. And although a return to the past may seem surprising in this park dedicated to the future, T-Rex nevertheless finds its place there: the film is designed around new technologies – notably the possibility for artificial intelligence to one day recreate dinosaur DNA – and new scientific discoveries around this emblematic animal. Get ready to be amazed!

“Pulse, the electric odyssey” and the “Campus Numeria” will open in the spring
For the other two new features of Futuroscope, we will have to wait until spring 2026. We will then discover “Pulse, the electric odyssey“, an immersive experience in two rooms, designed in partnership with EDF. A technical and interactive floor, as well as experiments around electricity will be available to the public and children. Finally, the “Campus Numeria“, a space dedicated to students of all cycles, will also open its doors, in partnership with National Education. A new bar, which will serve “molecular” cocktails, and a brand new food court, will also appear in April.

Just like hotels, restaurants and fast food outletstake away, are not lacking within Futuroscope. If you want to experience a completely futuristic service, the Space Loop restaurant is not to be missed! Equally new and integrated into the Cosmos hotel concept, the Space Loop lets you place your order completely independently via touch screens, and the food service is also disembodied, since your dishes arrive on rails in a deployment of pirouettes and other loops. We also find the restaurant La Table d’Arthurlocated right next to the “Arthur, the 4D Adventure” attraction, and of course inspired by the famous film Arthur and the Minimoys. In this catering area, tasting cuisine presented in the form of a buffet (starters, main courses, desserts and drinks) is offered to visitors.
