Estelle Lefébure is passionate about tattoos. The former model, now 59 years old and celebrating her 60th birthday on May 11, is very proud of the little works of art that are drawn on her body and spoke on the subject to Paris Match.

Her very first tattoo was done jointly with her ex-husband, David Hallyday. “The first was with David in 1989, a black panther, my favorite animal. It was really the beginning, Stephanie (Seymour, editor’s note) had some too“, she remembered. The tall blonde is particularly attached to all her inked drawings: “Thanks to them, you become unique. I have them everywhere now“.
On her ribs, she also has another tattoo that she likes. A sentence that follows her every day: “I have this quote from Martin Luther King: ‘You don’t know what you’re alive for until you know what you will die for’. We don’t know what we live for until we know what we would be willing to die for.“.
