With one click, you receive second -hand clothes already ironed, well chosen and ready to wear. All, without having to search on rays. We wanted to know if it was really worth it and here is our verdict.
The followers of the second hand know the process by heart: spending hours on vinted compare poorly framed photos, sorting in thrift stores badly stored or hope to fall on a nugget in its size. Some people get a taste for it, others let go of the matter. For the latter, a French platform has bet on a hybrid service: a box of second -hand clothes, delivered ready to wear, selected by a stylist according to your profile. The parts are ironed, strictly wrapped, with a free return system if it is not suitable.
The principle is simple: an online form to give its tastes, sizes, colors or cuts to avoid. A few days later, a stylist took over. Depending on her profile, she has hung for years and likes to spot clothes that will hit the bull’s eye. A week later, the box is delivered. Three clothes inside, in good condition: Cos pants, a Zara shirt, a major jacket. No spots, no bouloches, no suspicious odor. The clothes are well ironed and folded. A first good surprise. In fitting, the sizes stick, the cuts too. We feel that the pieces have not been drawn at random, but well chosen to correspond to the style described in the questionnaire.
The clothes remain second -hand, the selection therefore depends on the arrivals. And as often with boxes, we don’t choose the pieces in advance. You have to accept a share of surprise. But here, the selection is subject to validation: before sending, we receive by email the photos and prices of the clothes offered. We can then say yes or no, which limits disappointments. The economic model is based on this principle: we only pay what we keep.
