The twentieth edition of the National Communication Festivalhosted this year by the Archdiocese of Fermo and promoted by Paolini and Paoline. A more than positive balance: ten days of activity, over 35 events, twelve municipalities involved, eight vicaries out of nine actively participating and a strong popular participation.
To trace the sense of the initiative is the social communications office of the Archdiocese of Fermo, which coordinated the organization: “a stimulating, training, engaging festival”, reads the final note. “A unique and enriching experience that has helped to understand the importance of communicating with mildness, to open roads instead of raising walls, lighting up hope in the hearts and joyfully communicating the beauty of the meeting with the Lord”.
Don Michele Rogante, director of the Social Communications Office, wanted to thank Bishop Rocco Pennacchio for welcoming the proposal, and the organizational team made up of Don Enrico Brancozzi, Chiara Curi, Adolfo Leoni and Annalisa Cerretani: “Intense days, a little tiring, but really beautiful, unique, exciting and curling”.

The latter said: “Stop, a festival welcomed with enthusiasm and carried out with impeccable commitment. Some goodies of the program confirmed that ‘a different communication is possible’. Thanks to the archbishop Pennacchio, to Don Rogante and Chiara Curi for their precious presence”.
As per tradition, the closing of the Festival saw the announcement of the diocese that will host the next edition. The witness now passes to the diocese of Albano, where the twenty -first edition will be held in 2026.

Don Simone Bruno’s report, first on the right, during the work of the Festival.
“We have enthusiastically accepted the proposal – said the bishop of Albano, Vincenzo Viva – and we will insert ourselves with our peculiarities in the fruitful wake of this event, which combines liturgy, art, beauty and dialogue. Taking up the words of our Pope Leo XIV, we want to be manufacturers of universal fraternity bridges, proponents of a disarmed and welcoming communication, which will put the dignity of the person. An opportunity for communion and evangelization, but also of opening to the social and cultural challenges of our time, such as those related to the use of artificial intelligence “.
The archbishop of Fermo, Rocco Pennacchio, who wanted to thank all those who contributed to the success of the initiative closes the positive balance. “It was a new proposal for our territory – he said – that it allowed us to network, rediscover the importance of the world day of social communications and the message of Pope Francis, published on January 24. In these days we have experienced that it is possible to give space to a different way of communicating, capable of turning on hope”.
