The Crown Princess is following in her mother’s fashion footsteps. Focus on the new official portrait of Elisabeth of Belgium, with an outfit that is symbolic to say the least!
On the occasion of the 24th birthday of Princess Elisabeth of Belgium, a new official photo was published on the Instagram account of the Belgian Royal Palace.
On October 25, the crown princess to the Belgian throne celebrated her 24th birthday. As tradition dictates, a previously unpublished portrait was revealed. It was under the lens of Bas Bogaerts, who regularly works with the royal family, that the daughter of Philippe and Mathilde of Belgium posed. In this chiaroscuro style portrait, the one who studies at the prestigious Harvard University opted for a long dress in a pretty royal blue, signed Diane von Furstenberg. It was the “Apollo” model, with slightly dropped shoulders, gathers on the side and a slit running up the left leg. Made from matte jersey, this dress has a flattering cut combining sobriety and elegance. This is not the first time that Elisabeth of Belgium has appeared in this piece: she already wore it on December 20, 2022 for the Christmas concert attended each year by the Belgian royal family.
For the rest of her birthday look, the eldest of four children opted for a majestic accessory. While we cannot see her shoes in this portrait, we were able to admire her jewelry and in particular her earrings.
The young woman who is doing a master’s degree in public policy seems to have dug into her mother’s wardrobe since she wore the diamond sleepers of Mathilde of Belgium. Wavy hair, bluish eye shadow and peach blush completed the exquisite look of the future Queen of Belgium.
