Kate Middleton was recently spotted out and about in Scotland. True to her reputation as the queen of fashion, she wore an outfit that we’ll all be copying this fall.
Princess Kate Middleton is becoming more and more present in public. Five months after announcing her cancer, the Princess of Wales is slowly starting to make official and unofficial appearances again. After being applauded at length at Wimbledon, then posting a video in which she congratulated the English Olympic athletes, it was during her trip to a church that she was spotted. Sitting alongside her husband William and her son George, the Duchess of Cambridge had opted for a rather autumnal outfit.
To protect herself from the Scottish weather, which is known for being quite gloomy, the princess donned a long, checked trench coat from British brand Holland Cooper. With it, she wore a rather unexpected accessory, but perfect for the occasion. It was a Fedora, a small hat made of dark brown wool felt decorated with three feathers on the side. True to her favourite pieces, Kate Middleton had already worn this exact outfit on the same occasion at the end of August last year.
Hat heads
Princess Kate has long been known for her love of hats, and she owns them in every colour and shape to suit any occasion.
But she is not the only crowned head to be addicted to this sophisticated accessory. Mary of Denmark, Meghan Markle, Elisabeth of Belgium and Caroline of Monaco are all fans!
