Carlo Conti as per tradition revealed then live on Tg1 at 1.30pm the names of the 30 Big names competing at the next Sanremo Festival. An announcement postponed for seven days to mourn the passing of Ornella Vanoni, among the great protagonists of the Festival.

Here are the 30 Big names in the race:

The artists of Nuove Proposte, selected by, will be added to the cast Sanremo Youth And Sanremo area.

In this cast “there is a lot of variety, a great musical ferment, demonstrating the fact that Italian music is constantly evolving: there are many debuts, some confirmations and many different flavours”, said Carlo Conti after launching the list of thirty artists who will be competing at the Ariston in 2026.

Here are the 30 big names in the race: Thomas ParadiseChiello, Serena BrancaleLightning bolts, Toe in the soreFedez & Masini, Leo GassmannSayf, ArisaThirteen Peter, Sal Da VinciSamurai Jay, Malika AyaneLuchè, RafRag dolls, Ermal MetaNayt, Elettra Lamborghini, Michele Well done, J-AxEnrico Nigiotti, Marie Antoinette & ColombreFrancesco Renga, Mara SatteiLDA & Aka 7even, Dargen D’Amico, LevantEddie Brock, Patty Pravo.

A selection that is the result of long work: «I thank the record companies, the majors and the independents for putting me in difficulty» with three hundred proposals: «270 names did not return, thirty did». The artistic director hoped that it would be a cast “as lucky as last year, I hope to have chosen songs that will remain over time, will be listened to and will fill the charts”. The commitment was in particular to «expand musical flavors and tastes to satisfy all the spectators who love Sanremo and experience it as a national team match».

The songs chosen “are fun, some will make you think, others dance: I hope they become hits over time and we are part of our soundtrack”, reiterated Conti, leaving, as had already happened last year, for Bologna to host the Zecchino d’Oro final
