As of April 1, as every year, social assistance is revalued to take into account inflation. Here are the aids that will increase for parents.
Today, many French people can no longer get out of it without state financial aid. With more expensive races, exploding invoices and wages that do not always follow, these boosts have become essential. Without them, some can no longer pay their rent or fill their fridge. And for families, each help. This is good, because from this April 1, 2025, certain CAF aids are revalued up to 1.7% to follow the evolution of inflation between February 2024 and January 2025. The objective: to allow beneficiaries to maintain their purchasing power.
Family services, paid by the CAF (Family Allowance Fund), are the first concerned by this revaluation. In total, almost 6.4 million French people benefit from at least one of these aids, according to the latest figures from INSEE (National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies). Among the aid on the rise in the increase in family allowances, the back -to -school allowance, but also the active solidarity income (RSA), the activity bonus, the allowance for disabled adults (AAH) or the specific solidarity allowance (ASS).
With an increase of 1.7%, the amount of the family allowance for parents of two children therefore increases to 151.04 euros (instead of 148.52 euros) and to 344.55 euros against 338.80 euros for families of three children. For each additional child, an increase is granted up to 193.52 euros instead of 190.29 euros. Families with three children (aged under the age of 21) are also affected by the increase in family supplement from April 1, 2025. Depending on their income level, they will then be able to receive 196.58 euros per month against 193.31 euros or 294.90 euros per month instead of 289.98 euros. Finally, the back -to -school allowance, paid in August under resource conditions, should also be increased.
Given the revaluation of 1.7%, a couple with three dependent children can receive 344.55 euros in family allowances as well as 394.90 euros in family supplement. This makes a total of 639.45, or around 640 euros in aid paid. Note that for the month of April, social benefits will be paid one day ahead since the 5th of the month falls on a Saturday and that payments are not made on weekends or holidays. Payments will therefore take place this Friday, April 4, 2025.
