A few months after the death of Brigitte Bardot, what about La Madrague, this property in Saint-Tropez that is now so famous? Her widower, Bernard d’Ormale, made revelations to “Nice-Matin”…

What has become of Madrague since the death of Brigitte Bardot on December 28? Bernard d’Ormale, the widower of the former actress, spoke to Nice-Morning on what happens to this mythical property that she loved so much…

Brigitte Bardot: intruders at Madrague?

While the idea of transforming Madrague into a museum had been mentioned by certain media, Brigitte Bardot’s husband set the record straight. “This is impossible given its location.“, he said before mentioning a completely different possibility: “However, there could be visits in the future, but by appointment… I don’t want to see a queue gathering in front of the entrance“.

For the moment, Bernard d’Ormale still resides in this property in Saint-Tropez… and he sometimes receives unwanted visits. “There are security guards and cameras, but despite this, a few days ago, a guy arrived dressed as a frogman by the sea. It was the security guards who picked him up on the beach“, he said. Even when Brigitte Bardot was still alive, this kind of intrusion happened: “I had found an individual sleeping in the garden several times in the morning… He too arrived by sea, but in a costume“.

Legacy of Brigitte Bardot: revelations from her husband Bernard d’Ormale

As for Brigitte Bardot’s other property, La Garrigue, located a few kilometers from Saint-Tropez, no one yet knows what will become of it. “It is too early to talk about it and say who it belongs to, because everything has not been estimated. You need to know what it is really worth and then the domain could be sold“, he explained. In any case, the place should not, a priori, be transformed into an animal shelter, contrary to what rumors from the corridors suggested. “I continue to visit there every day and the few animals that remain there will soon be transferred to another Foundation shelter.“, added Bernard d’Ormale.

Regarding the inheritance of the late animal lover, her will has been opened and an inventory is underway. But according to her widower, the majority of this inheritance should go to Brigitte Bardot’s son, Nicolas-Jacques Charrier, with whom he “good reports” although they have not been encountered often in recent years.
