The activity bonus can allow you to receive up to 633 euros per month. This bonus allocated to the over 18s depends on certain conditions, including your professional activity. Here are the steps to request it.
People over the age of 18 can, under certain conditions, benefit from the Activity bonus, which allows you to complete your professional income. This aid is paid on the 5th of the month by CAF or MSA (if you depend on the agricultural regime). Here are the amounts, the conditions and the procedures to be taken to benefit from it:
Am I eligible for the CAF activity bonus?
You can benefit from the activity bonus under certain resource conditions and according to your situation.
- You carry out a professional activity as an employee or independent,
- Or you are compensated for partial unemployment or technical unemployment
- You are over 18 years old
- Your income is modest
- You live in France permanently
- If you are a student or apprentice, the monthly social net amount of your activity income must be more than 1104.25 euros.
What is the amount of the activity bonus?
The lump sum (basic amount of the calculation of the activity premium) is equal to 633.21 euros if you live alone and at 949.82 euros for couples (dependent child)specifies the site of the French administration. This basic amount depends on the composition of the household and the number of dependent children, to which we add 61% of the amount of home income, as well as the resources of the household. Note that “The social net amount is taken into account to determine the lump sum of the activity premium”. Finally, an increase is also provided for isolated parents.

The process is done online on the site www.service-public.fr. Once your request has been made, you will have to wait for the CAF’s favorable opinion in order to receive the amount on your account from the 1st day of the month during which you have submitted your request. The activity bonus is paid on the 5th of the month.
How long can we perceive the activity bonus?
The activity bonus is paid to you as long as your resources and your situation meet all the conditions of allocationspecifies the CAF. On the other hand, the amount which is granted to you is fixed for a period of three months. Depending on your situation, you will have to declare your resources online every quarter to make a new request which will be reassessed each time.
