Christine Bravo left her beloved Corsica and flew to the other side of the world, to India. The 69-year-old television woman is staying in a sublime hotel, run by the French… But what is the price of an overnight stay?
At 69, Christine Bravo is on the move. Although she found a life balance in Corsica, where she is based with the man she married in 2022, Stéphane Bachot, the former TV and radio presenter therefore needed to get some fresh air.

As she announced on her Instagram account, Laurent Ruquier’s accomplice has set down her bags in India. And, recently, she has been staying in a sublime hotel, located in South India, the Saratha Vilas Hotel. A luxurious palace dating from 1900, built on a 3500m2 property, renovated by French architects and reopened in 2010. A villa made up of ten rooms with traditional decoration, which is built around a central courtyard and a luxurious swimming pool. “Thank you Christine Bravo for your stay at Saratha Vilas. A very nice meeting and an unforgettable moment for us“, declared the owners of the hotel on Instagram.
Entrance fee for one night in this sublime palace? It costs around 156 euros per night for a twin room. “Today I changed countries, I am in South India. Kerala then Tamil Nadu. On my way to Pondicherry”therefore announced the TV and radio host on her Instagram account. Before admitting: “I admit, for me, India is a shock. I have traveled all over the world, I have not seen ANYTHING remotely comparable”. And Christine Bravo concludes: “The cities are permanent chaos, I’m dizzy”.

It must be said that the land of a thousand colors is the polar opposite of the life she has been leading for several years in Haute-Corse where she “invested in stone thirty years ago”as she confided to Jordan de Luxe. Based in a small village of 245 inhabitants, Occhiatana, she lives, with her husband, in a 17th century Genoese mill.
“I live very well, but I live in Corsica. I live well, but I cultivate a garden, I have fruit, I live with the seasons… I have no needs…”she also added. She also clarified that she no longer buys clothes: “I’m wearing clothes from twenty years ago because I lost weight. I have no needs”. The former presenter of Frou-Frou therefore lives on love, fresh water and sunshine!
