What should you think before choosing its doors?
Above all, it is necessary to consider several aspects: techniques and aesthetic. If you want to renovate your door, that is to say only change the door, you don’t have to worry about the measures. These are technicians who will do it for you, after they moved to your home or have brought your door directly to the store. On the other hand, if you did not have a door but only an opening, in this case, you are forced to take the dimensions (height, width). Then, the room in which the future door will be found is decisive for the choice of the model. In a living room, for example, a glass door will be more appropriate. Finally, you must decide on the door style that you prefer: classic or contemporary. This is a matter of taste here.
What kind of doors to choose if you want to save space?
Three solutions are available to you, from the cheapest to the most expensive. Extensible doors, or accordions, in PVC. They are economic but not very aesthetic. The “applied” sliding doors that slide on the wall. With them, you gain space on the ground. Finally, there are integrated systems that allow the doors to slide in the wall. The space gain is therefore not only on the floor but also on the wall. You can therefore continue to hang paintings or mirrors.

For each room in the house, is the choice of doors the same?
No. We will rather opt for glass doors in a living room in order to gain brightness and in depth. The gateway toilets will be smaller with preferably acoustic insulation. This last criterion is valid for all parts where there is potentially noise such as a laundry room or a play room. In addition, to separate a living room from a garage, a cellar or an attic, it is better to avoid any heat loss. Finally, there are both thermal and accoustic doors, ideal for separating two parts from different noise and heat levels.
What budget should we plan to change its doors?
If you choose a classic opening, therefore non -sliding, the most basic (flat, non -painted) door costs a little more than 20 €. For a more elaborate model, in oak for example, count around 300 to 400 €. Finally, there are contemporary doors (lacquered, with Wengé finish, etc.) at a price from 200 to 600 €. On the other hand, if you opt for sliding doors, you will have to add to the price of the door, the price of the system itself can range from € 50 to just under € 1,000. This gap is explained by the chosen model, applied (on the wall) or integrated (in the wall).
What are the latest door trends?
There are contemporary doors that are available in a range of a hundred colors, others with trendy finishes, wengé or bleached oak for example, lacquered models with decorations that are very easily cleaned, glass doors in frosted glass or screen printing … People prefer modern and that is felt in our offer. Overall, they have fewer doors because their spaces are more open than before (kitchen or corridor) but when they offer doors, these are more beautiful and more worked.
