Having a piercing is a question of aesthetics. So we like to change it regularly to vary the effects, styles, shapes and colors. But how do you take off your risk-free piercing? Here are some recommendations.

Remove your piercing for the first time

For the very first change in your piercing, the rule wants you to go to your pierceur. If you have chosen a good professionalhe will invite you to come back to see him about a month after pose. The pierceur will be able to verify the right healing, the absence of infection, remove your installation piercing, and explain to you how to change, in the future, jewelry.

Remove your piercing: watch out for hygiene

If you are not able to return to your pierceur, or if you want to carry out the operation for yourself, you will have to pay attention to the hygiene rules. Wash your hands with a hydroalcoholic gel or an antiseptic soap is a minimum to avoid possible complications. It is a habit to take with each change of piercing. Then soak the jewelry (the one you remove and the one you plan to put) for a good minute in an antibacterial solution. This same product will allow you to wash your skin in the pierced area. To keep the piercings you do not wear, choose a closed box, and separate them from your other jewelry.

Remove your piercing: tips

There is no point in getting upset on your piercing that you can’t withdraw. Keep your calm, and observe the recalcitrant jewel. The piercings made up of a ball are screwable. If you can’t remove the ball, it’s probably because you don’t turn it in the right direction. The rings are generally more difficult to remove. Pulling on both sides normally allows the ball to be unstoppted with relatively small rings. For older children, the operation can request the intervention of a professional. If you find it difficult to keep the jewel, which slides between your fingers, put on gloves, as a pierceur would. A wipers will make your life easier by absorbing your saliva for piercings in your mouth. If the operation turns out to be too complicated, do not hesitate to call on a professional, whether it is a pierceur or a doctor. Indeed, the difficulty in removing a jewel can be linked to an infection.
