While arriving on RMC, the imitator Nicolas Canteloup continues to multiply the back and forth between Paris and his home located a few kilometers from the capital. A haven of peace on which he confided in an interview.
After being ousted from Europe 1, the 61 -year -old imitator therefore takes revenge on RMC and hopes to continue to make listeners laugh. But when he is not on the radio or on TF1 alongside Hélène Mannarino, Nicolas Canteloup leads a peaceful life in his home not far from the capital.
Where does Nicolas Canteloup live? “I look at the sky and I feel the wind”
Nicolas Canteloup is now in charge of a brand new section, entitled Facing Canteloupwhich almost parodies the political interview carried out by his sister Apolline de Malherbe a few minutes ago. A new chapter of his life that he recently detailed in the columns of The Sunday platform.
But the popular humorist also took the opportunity to make some confidences about his privacy. Married and father of four, Nicolas Canteloup made the choice to preserve them from prying eyes and pressure from the show business. He has lived with his clan for more than two decades now in a stable in Maisons-Laffitte, in the Yvelines.
The one who is a riding instructor, and who has been champion in this discipline, has the luxury of being able to indulge in his passion every day. “In the morning, when I want to know the weather to decide where I’m going to go with my horse, I don’t consult my cell phone but I look at the sky and I feel the wind”he told our colleagues. Before ironizing: “I feel like I live like an Indian.”
“I go to make a gallop and it’s immediately forgotten”
Besides, Nicolas Canteloup assures him: it is his devouring passion that allows him to take the course. “When I started, I thought that this time devoted to my passion would be an obstacle to my career. But it is the opposite. When other colleagues have the impression that life stops because they missed a sketch, I go to make a gallop and it is immediately forgotten”he said in The Sunday Tribune. “”I love being alone in the forest, it is the greatest good. The horse does not care about the statutes, he does not know if the one who goes up is famous, it puts the ego in place“, he also added to The team.
Moreover, at 61, the former acolyte of Nikos Aliagas and Alessandra Sublet will soon make one of his dreams: to open a riding school which intends to make the discipline accessible to all adults who have never practiced this demanding sport. The tip to horses will therefore open its doors at the beginning of 2026 in the Maisons-Laffitte park, a resort of Nicolas Canteloup.
