On October 16, the city’s Christophe Martichon reached an important milestone: turning 50! Not enough to impress this father of two boys, Jules and Marcel, whom he had with the woman of his life, Nadège Sarron. Moreover, he even chose to chant his age in a new title, published on his birthday, 50 years already. A song that echoes another, released ten years ago: 40 years tomorrow.
In an interview given to Parisian on January 16, Christophe Maé came to terms with his age: “I have zero problems with that. Deep down, I’m still 25. I’m the third kid in the house.”. And for him to happily add: “I’m very lucky because our sons are calm, calm. There is a framework, it’s Madam who took care of them and still takes care of them. I have the chance to spend time with them without being sedentary”.
Christophe Maé, very attached to the South of France: “I still have the same friends”
The artist obviously celebrated his 50th birthday well: “For my 50th birthday, I got drunk. I celebrated with my loved ones. Not two hundred, around twenty, the hard core, my childhood friends”. “I still live in the South and I still have the same friends with whom I always laugh about the same stupid things. It brings me a lot of lightness”he even confided.
This therefore allows him to pursue his flourishing career head-on. After three years of absence, Christophe Maé recently made his comeback to the forefront. On March 20, he will unveil his seventh album, Funfair. An opus of ten titles that he will perform on all stages of France from next June.
