The proof: in the top 20 cities that attract the most retirees, there are almost only cities located not far from the sea or the ocean. It is the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region which stands out as the most popular region over 65 with no less than four cities in the rankings such as Six-Fours-les-Plages and Cannes.
Thanks to its undeniable quality of life, its very pleasant Mediterranean climate and its geographical location, the favorite city of French seniors to put their suitcases is none other than … Saint-Raphaël! And this despite an increased real estate price: between 5000 and 6000 euros per square meter.
