Do you dream of bright, smooth and imperfections, without exploding your budget? Jennifer Lopez’s makeup artist shares a stunning tip that requires only a cheap product and you may already have it at home.
When we talk about Jennifer Lopez, we think of her impressive career, but also of his radiant complexion which seems to challenge time. His regular make -up artist, Scott Barnes, is the man behind this magic. With more than 30 years of experience, he worked for hundreds of magazine and music clip covers, developing makeup techniques that make the biggest stars dream. Today, he shares one of his best kept secrets, accessible to everyone.
First of all, in makeup, a good base is essential to guarantee the good hold of your foundation and your anti-concealer. However, even with neat hydration, certain areas like the underside of the eyes can be a problem. Indeed, anti-conceers tend to offend or fade after a few hours, thus ruining the global effect. Scott Barnes has therefore developed a method that changes the situation.
And what makes this tip even more interesting is that it does not require expensive or difficult to find products. Scott Barnes evokes a balm in Stick format here, offering a precise application and a perfect finish. According to him, the classic version, more oily, may not as well suit. This product, available in pharmacies for only a few euros, not only makes it possible to hydrate the skin, but also to fix the concealer and to prevent unsightly folds.
In a video published on his YouTube channel, the specialist says that the idea came to him during long days spent on film sets. He was looking for a way to prevent make -up products from migrating or accumulating in the folds of the skin. And he found it with Aquaphor lip balm.
He explains that he applies this treatment in front of the eyes before placing the concealer for an optimal result. The makeup artist says that this technique can literally give your face a facelift, reducing the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. Result: a fresh and bright complexion, with dark circles perfectly camouflaged for 7.50 euros. Clever.
