One year after revealing the best return served on a euro fund – 4.45%* at an annualized rate – the group specializing in savings Corum is doing it again, by announcing this Tuesday, January 14 a rate of 4.65%* distributed in 2024. Which should place Corum quite significantly at the top of the ranking of returns over the past financial year. A significant performance in a market which should see the average performance served decline slightly compared to 2023. Indeed, according to the firm Facts & Figures, the average return on funds in euros is expected at 2.50% in 2024 – compared to 2 .60% in 2023 -, with, for the best students, rates around 4%.
In a sector in decline on the performance front, the Corum group benefited from the youth of its euro fund, Corum EuroLife, launched in July 2023, at a time when the yields on bonds – assets which mainly fill the guaranteed capital supports – were at their highest, due to rate increases decided by Central Banks to fight inflation.
A diversified euro fund with its own real estate and bond funds
A period now over since the European Central Bank (ECB) has, since June 6, 2024, initiated a cycle of lowering its rates, making bonds less and less attractive. To cope with this, the group has focused on other assets within its euro fund: high-yield bond funds and real estate funds that the management company also markets. “The core of the Euro fund, at 70%, remains composed of government or top-rated corporate bonds (investment grade), and we are also diversified with high-yield corporate bonds and real estate investment companies (SCPI) of the Corum group”detailed Olivier de Parcevaux, bond specialist of the Corum group.
