Recycle an identical outfit, without losing style? This is the fashion power of the Queen of the Belgians. The proof with these pieces showcasing a superb French brand.
On January 28, Mathilde of Belgium accompanied her husband for his annual speech to the country’s authorities. For the occasion, she tried a monochrome outfit in an attractive winter color.
It was in the Throne Room of the Royal Palace in Brussels that the couple, as well as Prince Laurent (the king’s brother) and Claire of Belgium (his wife), received the highest leaders of the kingdom for a New Year’s reception. While the King of the Belgians wore a beautiful blue suit, Mathilde opted for a monochrome look in burgundy color. So, she brought out a dress that she really likes and that she has already worn. This is a creation signed Diormidi length, long sleeves and belted waist. The detail that made all the difference was the collar of this piece, enhanced by elegant cutouts, revealing the queen’s skin.
For her accessories, Mathilde from Belgium also trusted the French luxury house, thus displaying a 100% look. Dior. We particularly noticed her handbag: the iconic “Lady Dior” model in a mini version made in grained calfskin, decorated with cannage stitching, creating the brand’s emblematic quilted texture. On her feet, the blonde wore the “D-Moi” pumps, made of leather and in a burgundy shade to match the rest of the outfit.
A pair appreciated by several royal personalities, including Beatrice Borromeo and Meghan Markle. If Mathilde from Belgium recycles her looks, it seems that she always wears them wonderfully!
