On January 8, Mathilde of Belgium revealed her first outfit of the year 2026 with an adorable pink ensemble. Her accessories were very refined.
It was their first official outing of 2026. After spending the end of year holidays with family and enjoying a few days away from the photographers, the royal couple returned to service. As is tradition, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde organized a New Year’s reception to deliver their greetings to the diplomatic corps accredited in Brussels. Ambassadors from around the world stationed in Belgium were welcomed at the country’s Royal Palace. For the occasion, the Queen of the Belgians tried a plain outfit, with a powder pink ensemble. It consisted of a blouse tucked into its long, flared, pleated skirt made of silk. The blonde had highlighted a Belgian brand since it was the label’s “Nema” model Natan Couture which she particularly likes.
For her accessories, Mathilde of Belgium focused on two elements signed Giorgio Armani. She wore the “La Prima” clutch in satin embellished with a thin gold chain, as well as pointed-toe pumps in pink to match her outfit. We love the details of her scalloped heel shoes, which brilliantly mixed leather and suede pieces.
